Word of mouth and social media are hot topics in the media. Loud’s task was to fulfil the media need for relevant stories, while promoting greater understanding of 1000heads’ unique and visionary approach. PR activity focused on producing engaging and readable case studies, facilitating one-two-one interviews with key media, building strong links with the major publications, and using comments on topical news items to present 1000heads spokespeople to a wider audience.
The outcome
Our PR activity has resulted in extensive coverage of 1000heads in trade publications like Marketing Week, PR Week, The Marketer, Retail Week and New Media Age, as well as other major media such as The Grocer and the Evening Standard. PR support following the company’s WOMMA award in 2008 led to heightened levels of media interest in the company, which Loud was able to capitalise on.
