Miele is a leading high-quality domestic appliance manufacturer.

The client need

Miele approached Loud for innovative ideas to enhance the company’s impact on and offline.

The Loud solution

By means of a microsite – devised, built and promoted by Loud – we created a hub to amplify positive word of mouth (WOM) about the brand, as well as identifying and reaching out to brand advocates. Using the results of a lifestyle survey commissioned by Loud, we devised a PR campaign that centred on the power and influence of social media. In addition, we developed and organised competitions to drive traffic to the site. Using on and offline media, we promoted specialist advice from Miele about energy usage and WEEE compliance.

The outcome

The media interest generated by the microsite and traditional PR channels, we were able to reinforce Miele’s brand messages. By promoting specialist advice from Miele, we highlighted and consolidated the company’s reputation for quality products, customer service and environmental responsibility, taking these messages to new audiences.
