Cochlear came to Loud for help in raising awareness of implantable hearing devices among a wide-ranging audience – from adults, teenagers, children and their families, to health professionals.
Working closely with Cochlear, Loud devised a comprehensive programme of on and offline PR. In addition to traditional media and broadcast campaigns, we also developed highly effective ongoing activity, using social networking channels including the design, development and management of The DeafBlog.
Our activity resulted in extensive print coverage, including front page national stories, as well as high-profile national and regional TV interviews, and coverage in consumer magazines. The DeafBlog provides the deaf community with a lively and practical online forum for exchanging news and sharing experiences among a growing worldwide readership.
